Rainbow Ponies

Rainbow Ponies with their beautiful rainbow hair spread rainbow colors everywhere. They're like a dream come true!
Rainbow Ponies were named for their colored hair in the four traditional colors of the rainbow: pink, yellow, green, and blue. There are six ponies in this set; Starshine, Skydancer, Windy, Moonstone, Parasol and Sunlight. They were the first set to feature all three types of ponies: earth ponies, pegasus ponies, and unicorns. Just like the Unicorn and Pegasus Ponies all of the ponies in this group have glittery symbols. Each of the ponies came with a brush with a rainbow sticker on the back, a standard comb, a ribbon, and a puffy sticker.
There are two versions of the first streak of dark pink hair on the Rainbow Ponies, a duller shade of dark pink and brighter shade of dark pink. As well as some other small color variations. Windy and moonstone have a variation of thick and thin symbols.
Some of the Rainbow Ponies were available in later years through mail order offers, most had slight variation to their symbol color.
All of the ponies in this set have many different foreign counterparts, some even changed type (i.e from Pegasus to Earth pony).
